Deb and I went on a great vacation. Our first stop was Redding to see our oldest son Peter. It was a great visit, but the temperature was about 115 degrees! The next stop was southern Oregon to visit Deb's sister and brother-in-law. Eugene, OR was the location of the Sam Provoast's wedding and also in Eugene we were able to visit with my nephews and niece. From Eugene we traveled to Eagle, ID near Boise and stayed with my sister and brother-in-law (Bill and Laurie).
It was great to have an easy pace, see friends and family and just be together. God has truly blessed us with wonderful friends and family.
Another blessing is church went on without a hitch while I was gone. There are so many people serving and using their gifts at the church that I can be gone a week and things continue as they should. It is nice to get some vacation time, but it is also good to get home.
